2025 THS School Picture Day!

TJHS was buzzing with beginning band students on Monday as students tested out instruments to join the band! Fifth grade students from TJHS, St. Mary’s and Vision Way all had the opportunity to select their new band instruments. Ms. Moloney would like to thank The Music Shoppe for bringing all of the testing equipment - and special thanks to Dennis Jones, Jacob Schumaker, and Cliff Jourdan for helping our newest band students find their way!

Lunch at North! Nothing better than catching up with friends and sharing a meal together. Smiles and laughter filled the cafeteria today

The hallways of North School are buzzing again! We loved seeing our students and staff walk through the doors, ready shine.

North School Principal Mr. Cunningham stopped by Mrs. Haselhorst’s first-grade classroom and joined the students for a fun brain break! The kids loved having their principal join in on the action, it was a great reminder that taking a few minutes to recharge can bring big smiles and lots of energy.

Our classrooms are already full of energy and excitement! Students dove right into new routines and learning activities on day one. Welcome back North!

Great things are coming to Memorial! Stay tuned!!!

Our TJHS RISE Class is back again this year with their Tornado Joe's deliveries! The RISE Classroom is a self-contained classroom for students who require a structured learning environment. In the classroom, they learn academics as well as life skills, and Tornado Joe's is one of their favorite activities. On most Wednesdays, TJHS staff members are able to order from a list of Tornado Joe's drinks. Students from the RISE Classroom deliver these drinks throughout the building on Friday mornings. Money earned throughout the school year primarily goes to restock the cart so they can continue this activity. Any money left over does help offset the cost of field trips and music therapy. RISE students love Tornado Joe's, but most of all, they LOVE interacting with staff members, and the staff members love seeing them as well!

A huge thank you to the Christian County Health Department for presenting to our students this morning! They shared some great information about the different volunteer opportunities they offer for students. It was so inspiring to see our students so engaged and excited about giving back!

Congratulations to Booker! He is our first Pre-k Brag Tag recipient. He helped a friend stand back up after falling on the playground. Booker got to also come into the office to share the good news and pick out a prize.

5th grade families mark your calendars! Monday, August 25th is our Beginning Band Night at TJHS! Come test out band instruments and see what you would like to play to join our awesome Tornado band! Ms. Mo and your classroom teacher will be handing out more information next week. Hope to see you there!
