Industry Concepts and Building Trades students at THS got a special visit from TFD during Shop Safety Week. Chief Matt Adermann and Assistant Chief Cody Rodgers gave a presentation on essential skills like basic first aid and fire safety. Students then got hands-on experience with TFD's fire extinguisher simulation. A huge thank you to TFD for giving these students an incredible experience.

The generosity of our community has been amazing! Thank you so much to all the individuals, families, and businesses who have been kind enough to donate clothes, school supplies, and personal hygiene productions to Taylorville Junior High School. We truly have an community that's always willing to lend a helping hand.
We want to invite all 6th - 8th grade students and parents to our Taylorville Junior High School Open House on August 27th from 6:00-7:00 PM. We begin with a brief meeting in the gym with the administration, then students and parents will be released to first hour classes. From that point on, we will allow everyone to move between students' classes every five minutes. We hope to see everyone there!
