Luigi the reading buddy🐰: inspiring young minds one story at a time!📚

Taylorville has the cutest Munchkins on and off in the stage. Great job to the whole cast and crew of The Wizard of Oz!

Mrs. Lively's Class The excitement was building in Mrs. Lively’s first-grade classroom as students took on a LEGO snowmobile challenge! Thanks to kits borrowed from the ROE, students combined creativity and coding skills to build and program their vehicles to glide across the classroom.

Miss Claypool’s first graders had snow much fun building LEGO snowmobiles! Using special LEGO kits borrowed from the ROE, students constructed their own snowmobiles and then programmed them to move. It was an exciting way to learn about coding and engineering.

Mrs. Salazar's fourth graders had a blast exploring block coding with Finch robots, on loan from the ROE. Students worked in teams to program the robots to follow paths, change colors, and make sounds. The project was a hit, building both teamwork skills and a passion for technology.

More pictures of 8th grade stem students who visited the Challenger Learning Center. Students got to participate in a live simulation on an immersive space mission to Mars. Students worked in teams and were provided the opportunity to participate in Mission Control and in the Space Craft. Students were given tasks to communicate with each other and had to be completed. When students were not participating in the live simulation, they were in a separate location completing stem activities and learning about an engineer's life from NASA. It was a fun filled day and a GREAT learning experience.
