The TJHS Spooktacular Fall Concert is right around the corner!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our annual Parent-Teacher Conferences are quickly approaching. Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 24th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday, October 25th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Parents of TJHS students will access the Skyward Conference Scheduler through the district website and set up individual teacher conferences for each child. Please register for a conference for the teachers you would like to see.
In order for your child to reach his/her full potential, working as a team is critical. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to work together to benefit your child. We look forward to seeing you on October 24th or 25th.

We are excited to share some stellar news from our Jr. High science classes! This week, our students are experiencing the Star Lab, a fantastic portable planetarium that is providing an immersive learning experience about Earth and space. The Star Lab transforms our classroom into a captivating universe where students can explore the wonders of space. Students are loving the 3D experience, getting up close with planets, stars, comets, and various other celestial objects.

Mrs. Reindl went into the 5th grade classrooms and worked with the students on what information you should and should not share. We discussed the difference between personal and private information.

Congrats to Cadence Davis and Addy Fulton on having the most consecutive football catches, 217 in a row without a drop. This was the highest record at Memorial Elementary School. Way to go girls!

Mrs. Thomas, our instructional coach, has been busy working with K-4 students, helping them develop a variety of important skills. Here she is in Miss Bortmess's 2nd-grade class, introducing students to Epic as they prepare for their reading centers. Along with teaching the students how to navigate the platform, Mrs. Thomas is also guiding them through an engaging lesson on schema, helping them connect new ideas to what they already know—a key skill for deepening their reading comprehension!
