In Mrs. Mateer’s first-grade classroom, LEGO blocks transformed into moving snowmobiles! Students eagerly accepted the building challenge, creating and coding their own models with kits borrowed from the ROE. It was a day filled with creativity and STEM learning!

Mrs. Deetz’s first graders discovered the joy of hands-on coding and construction! Using LEGO kits provided by the ROE, students assembled snowmobiles and learned how to code their designs, watching proudly as their vehicles moved around the room.

Mrs. Haselhorst’s first-grade class! Students used LEGO kits borrowed from the ROE to build unique snowmobiles, then challenged themselves further by coding their creations to race along classroom tracks.
After a morning of hard work on the IAR test, Miss Sharrow’s 5th graders had some fun this afternoon with a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament! Everyone brought their best game, but in the end, Maci came out on top as our champion!

First graders in Mrs. Grant’s room revved up their engineering skills with a LEGO snowmobile-building adventure! Students constructed their models and then explored coding as they programmed their snowmobiles to zoom forward using kits from the ROE.
English 9 students at THS with their Romeo and Juliet projects. Students were able to pick a project to complete and then present to the class. Some students chose to build replicas of the Globe Theater. Others created memory albums that Romeo and Juliet might have kept. Still others created drawings of costumes that Romeo, Juliet, and other characters might have worn in the play.
Mrs. Lively's Class The excitement was building in Mrs. Lively’s first-grade classroom as students took on a LEGO snowmobile challenge! Thanks to kits borrowed from the ROE, students combined creativity and coding skills to build and program their vehicles to glide across the classroom.
Miss Claypool’s first graders had snow much fun building LEGO snowmobiles! Using special LEGO kits borrowed from the ROE, students constructed their own snowmobiles and then programmed them to move. It was an exciting way to learn about coding and engineering.

When students were not participating in the live simulation, they were in a separate location completing stem activities and learning about an engineer's life from NASA.
