Our local first responders, including deputies, police officers, paramedics, firefighters, Dunn’s Ambulance, and dispatch members , stopped by to read to our students and share about their important roles in keeping our community safe. 💙
The students loved hearing their stories and learning more about how each of them helps others every single day. Fourth graders at Memorial Elementary revisited color coding this week using our new hands-on Ozobots named Ari! Students explored how these tiny robots respond to color commands and patterns, learning the basics of how coding connects to movement and logic. This engaging lesson sets the foundation for future STEM projects, as students continue building their skills and creativity in technology class. 💡🤖💜💛

Buddies unite! 💕 Ms. Laker’s and Ms. McChristy’s classes visited North School to meet and interview their 2nd-grade buddies, while Mrs. Cope’s and Mrs. Vickers’ 2nd graders enjoyed connecting with their 5th-grade friends. Smiles, laughter, and great conversations filled the halls and Mrs. Cope and Mrs. Vickers loved catching up with some of their former students! 💜💛
