Fourth graders in Mrs. Castle's class took on the exciting challenge of programming Finch robots, thanks to the ROE's lending program. Using block coding, students guided the robots through mazes, lit them up with colorful patterns, and explored basic programming concepts with enthusiasm and creativity!

Yearbooks for this school year are on sale now! From now until Spring Break, basic yearbooks are $60 each. After Spring Break, the cost will rise to $75!

Miss Johnson's Class

Miss Sharrow’s 5th grade class explored how people in the past measured time using the Sun. They built their own sundials, first experimenting indoors with flashlights to see how light affects shadows. Next they will be taking their shadow clocks outside to track the suns movement.

🐣 Exciting news from Mrs. Klingler’s 2nd-grade class! After weeks of patiently waiting and learning about the life cycle of a chicken, the eggs have finally hatched! The students have been eagerly observing their fluffy new friends and are excited to watch them grow. This hands-on experience has brought science to life in the classroom, sparking curiosity and wonder. Welcome to the world, little chicks! 🐥✨

In February, our class received and sent Valentine’s Day cards from all over the world! We were thrilled to receive over 100 cards from 43 out of 50 U.S. states, along with some special bonus Valentines from Canada and Germany.
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to write to us—we had so much fun reading about each state and discovering new fun facts!
At the start of this adventure, students guessed how many states would send us cards, and Addie’s guess of 40 states was the closest!

Mr. White recently spent time with the 4th-grade students at Memorial, leading them through a series of exciting science activities. The hands-on activities captured students' curiosity and made learning both fun and engaging.

The THS Jazz band came and rocked the house for the 7th & 8th grade band students! They had a blast and 8th graders got a chance to ask questions about the high school band program. Thanks to Mr. Jourdan and the band for coming by!
