Third graders are participating in a STEM bridge building challenge this week. They read the story "Pop's Bridge" and were challenged by Ms. Specha to build a bridge 12 inches long that is capable of holding the weight of 100 pennies. Many interesting designs were chosen by the classes today.

Mrs. Anderson's science classes learned about the rotation of planets around the sun. Mrs. Reindl worked with students teaching them to code spheros so students could mock the earth's rotation around the sun.

The elementary instructional coaches and tech integrationist delivered a Preview to Lincoln to the fourth grade classrooms in anticipation of their upcoming field trip to the Lincoln sites. The students were very excited to explore more information about Lincoln.

Mrs. Sorrill's Speech I students completed an activity on giving directions. One group of students told the other how to draw a picture. The second group of students couldn't see or talk to the person giving directions. They learned that giving precise directions is difficult.



Attorney’s General Office representative, Ms. Alyssa, came to the TJHS and Memorial today to speak to students about making smart choices online. Thank you to Tammy Reindl for arranging this presentation for our students.



Mrs. Molen’s 6th grade class at TJHS is starting to create presentations. Mrs. Reindl was invited in to the classroom to teach them different tips and tricks to make their presentations eye catching!
