The 8th grade ELA department at Taylorville Jr. High recently received the Illinois Retired Teachers Association grant. Mrs. Alberssen, Mrs. Graves, and Ms. Cummins will use the grant money to purchase new novels for 8th grade students. Great job and the novel is "Touching Spirit Bear" for those interested. Taylorville Junior High School's Student Council celebrated our community's first responders on Patriot's Day by providing donuts and a "thank you" poster to Christian County Sheriff's Office, Taylorville Police Department, Taylorville Fire Department and Dunn's Ambulance. We appreciate everything they do for our community!
