
Pajama Day Fun at TJHS to kick off homecoming week!






Taylorville Junior High School's Student Council celebrated our community's first responders on Patriot's Day by providing donuts and a "thank you" poster to Christian County Sheriff's Office, Taylorville Police Department, Taylorville Fire Department and Dunn's Ambulance. We appreciate everything they do for our community!

Day 6--TJHS "New Faces in New Places"--We are excited to spotlight TJHS staff taking on new assignments and challenges and today's staff member is Mrs. Jennifer Richardson. Mrs. Richardson has joined the PE department and has a wide range of classes which keep her always on the move. Thank you for your continued dedicated service.


Impossible Shot Winner! Amelia gave 100% today in PE and understood how to play Tchoukball. She won a $5 gift card.


School-to-Work Spotlight! Asher Niemann works for Niemann Farms for the THS School-to-Work program. Thank you Niemann Farms!

Time to celebrate THS! Olivia Hammac, a sophomore at THS, is the 2023 SCCA Solo Nationals Champion in SSL (Super Street Ladies). Olivia has an impressive racing resume. Olivia won the 2019 Tire Rack Solo Nationals in the Formula Junior B kart class. Hammac achieved another “first” when she was named by Sports Illustrated Kids as a finalist for the SportsKid of the Year award in 2019. In 2022 with her learns permit in hand she managed a 5th place finish in a C8 in SSL. In 2023, barely a month after getting her driver's license, Olvia is your 2023 national Champion in SSL!
