Today, I cashed in my hard-earned 250 ClassDojo points to be Miss Hancock (Third-Grade Teacher) for the day! I earned points by consistently completing homework and classwork, tackling the daily challenge questions, showing good behavior, and always leading by example. It took a lot of dedication and effort, but it's a great feeling to see all that hard work pay off!

Congratulations to Maverick Courtaway, Sarah Wagner, and Grace Mizeur as they recorded the highest possible scores on their Illinois Assessment of Readiness and earned a $50 gift card. Thank you to our TJHS STUCO for sponsoring our system of incentives as well.

Last Saturday, April 19th, The THS Bass Fishing Team competed in the Glenwood Bass Fishing Invite at Lake Sangchris. While it was not ideal weather, student anglers enjoyed their first tournament of the 2025 fishing season. Thank you to all of the volunteers that donate energy, time, and boats to make the THS Fishing Team possible.

🐣 Exciting news from Mrs. Kent’s Kindergarten class ! 🐥 Students have been learning all about the life cycle of a chicken. They got to witness the magic of new life up close. The joy and curiosity on their faces say it all! 🌟🥚🐤

Egg-citing things are happening in Mrs. Klingler’s classroom! After 21 days of waiting and watching, the second graders are egg-cited! 🐥 Our fluffy friends finally hatched! We welcomed 17 chicks and had so much fun color-coding and naming each one. We almost had one chick for every student!

Today, we celebrate the incredible administrative professionals who are the first point of contact, the problem-solvers, and the organizational wizards of our schools. Your contributions are invaluable! Thank you! #TCUSD3
