Update on Student Incident

Re: Bullying
From: Michelle Reiss, Principal
Recently, our school has had a case of bullying that has affected a group of third grade students. During the investigation the students involved identified a male student that has been found to be bullying them. The student has been placed on a safety plan.
Our most important concern is for the safety and well being of our students. We are working closely with the families and students involved to provide support and education while staying in direct communication during this time. Please know that if any individual has information or wants to share matters related to the allegations, we want him/her to share with us so that we can assist. We are determined to keep all children and staff in our school.
Should you have any additional information or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the principal at 217-287-7920 or email at mreiss@tcusd3.org
