THS is in the midst of conducting our Safety Drills for the 2023-2024 School year.
We conducted our Bus Evacuation Drills yesterday 8/22/23 during P.E. Class and this morning with the cooperation of TPD and CCSO we conducted our Code Red Lockdown Drill. Thank you to both the Taylorville Police Department and the Christian County Sheriff's Office. We will conduct our first Fire Drill tomorrow.

Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettlekamp and Chief Deputy Jim Baker are excited to announce the release of a custom smartphone application. The app will serve as an innovative way for the Sheriff's Office to connect with Christian County residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone. Apps allow the ability to reach and serve citizens where they are: their smartphones. We hope you enjoy the App and will assist us in sharing the App with others. To share the App tap the settings icon in the upper right corner of the App.

TJHS Lunch Balance Information Update: Dear TJHS Community,
In an effort to minimize and mitigate the shock of oversized lunch account deficits we are sending Skyward reminders every Friday to the guardians of any student that has a negative balance of $10 or more. Until the balance is addressed, students will not be allowed to purchase extra a la carte items.
Thank you and we are addressing with each class this week so our students are aware of the policy shift. Please have the discussion at home as well. The shock of a $300 TJHS cafeteria bill will hopefully not occur due to the advanced notifications.
Thank you--Eric Bruder, principal
