students presented material

Mrs. Wagner's 7th grade STEM Class at Taylorville Jr. High is dreaming of a Green Future! The class created  an Energy Expo this week.  Student groups had to research an alternative energy source and create an informational display with a model to educate others about their green energy choice. Students became experts in the areas of Solar, Hydroelectric, Geothermal, Hydrogen and Biomass power sources.  This activity is part of the Project Lead the Way curriculum, a projected based STEM curriculum that empowers students to thrive in an evolving world.
