Every semester the THS business management class donates money raised through the THStore. The class had a Tornado Coffee Cart for staff this year and raised over $300. As a class assignment, the students then prepare presentations of local charities for the class and the admin to vote.
Macy Richards, (this semester's winner) did her presentation on the Hope House. She presented a check to Michael St.Louis(Hope House co-founder) for $500 on Friday.
Hope House of Central Illinois is a dream of hope and healing, currently being built into a reality. When complete, it will be a retreat center for parents and families who have suffered the loss of a child.
