The Taylorville HS Music Department sent fourteen student musicians to the campus of Eastern Illinois University for the Illinois Music Education Association District level festival on Saturday, November 18. Each of these students had to go through a demanding audition process to earn the opportunity to participate in the festival. Professional guest conductors worked with each ensemble as they practiced and performed throughout the day. They all enjoyed a successful day of making music, and outstanding performances.The THS representatives to the ILMEA Festival are pictured here.
